The Tuesday Euromillions Jackpot for 16th August is €53m after Four Rollovers

EuromillionsThe Weirs and their £161 million Euromillions win is all but a distant memory to most of us now, and for the first time since they became record winners after scooping that bumper Euromillions jackpot, the lottery is on a major rollover trend again. The draw takes place this evening and the Tuesday Euromillions jackpot for 16th August is €53 million after four rollovers, that’s £46 million if you’re in the UK.

It’s a bumper jackpot and this Euromillions rollover means the lottery has breached €50 million for the first time in over a month. It’s an important milestone and should the Euromillions jackpot not be won this evening, then it’s likely to start growing at an alarming rate.

When the Weirs scooped the £161 million Euromillions Lottery jackpot last month, it had rolled over fourteen consecutive times. This gives some indication of just how far this jackpot has to go before it reaches it’s limit at least but we could of course see a winner well before then.

As the Euromillions jackpots increase, ticket sales rise too, and it’s this that causes the jackpot to climb at such a rate. However, more ticket sales mean we are more likely to see a Euromillions jackpot winner. There’s just a few hours left now until the draw, and sales are likely to be brisk today. Will we see a Euromillions Lottery jackpot winner tonight? Well that’s absolutely impossible to predict but there’s not long to wait until the Euro Millions results as the countdown is on to the €53 million rollover draw.
