Euromillions countdown to rollover

EuromillionsI can just see the weekend over the brow of the week now and that means it’s the Euromillions countdown to the rollover tomorrow evening. Nine European countries participate in the draw and players from all of those countries are likely to be out in force today buying tickets for the rollover jackpot, worth an estimated €28 million, or £25 million to UK Lottery players. The draw takes place in Paris, tomorrow evening at 10pm and is much anticipated, as the lottery has not seen very much rollover action at the moment.

Last weekend, no Euromillions winners could be found, despite healthy ticket sales across all the Euro Lottery countries. The biggest winner from the main draw collected £183,000 and the £12.9 million jackpot (which was slightly higher than estimate) rolled over. This has created the Euromillions rollover this Friday evening, only the second Euromillions rollover so far in 2011.

Will it be another rollover or will this weekend see a £25 million Euromillions winner? Who knows, but good luck all those lottery players across Europe and around the world buying lottery tickets for the draw!
