World LotteryIt’s been in the news for months now and still the case of the murdered lottery winner rolls on with the main suspect now on centre stage for the world’s media. Abraham Shakespeare hit the lottery news in 2006 when he collected around $12.5 million upon winning the Lakeland Lottery jackpot. However, pretty soon he was in the news for other reasons as he had gone missing and was then found murdered.

Before very long, the finger of suspicion was pointed at one Dee Dee Moore, a lady who had befriended the lottery winner before he died. Once Mr Shakespeare’s remains had been retrieved, Ms Moore was charged with murdering the lottery winner in a greedy plan to steal his winnings.

Ms Moore maintains that she only befriended the lottery winner to write a book about his good fortune but the charge remains. This week Ms Moore has waived a court appearance after changing her representation last month and still the case of the murdered lottery winner rolls on.

Interest has been high in this case and it just goes to show. Whoever murdered Abraham Shakespeare, and someone certainly did, they did so in an act of malicious greed, proving that lottery winners from the world lottery draws need to keep their wits about them.

No doubt this case will remain in the news for weeks to come but one thing is for sure, Abraham Lincoln is dead and $12.5 million in lottery jackpot winnings is missing.
