Canada Lotto in rollover boost

Lotto 649Last weekend, Canada Lotto players were spoiled for choice between the $7 million rollover on the Lotto 6/49 and the Canada Lotto Max and it’s $50 million jackpot plus Maxmillions. It seems that many players opted for the Lotto Max draw as the Lotto 6/49 didn’t find a winner and so the Canada Lotto sees rollover boost, making Wednesday’s jackpot worth over $10 million! All eyes were on the Lotto Max this weekend, which may be a contributing factor in the Lotto 6/49 rollover, yet the Lotto Max jackpot still outstrips the Lotto 6/49 with $21 million up for grabs!

It certainly means that again this week, Canada Lotto players are absolutely spoiled for choice, with both draws offering huge life-changing lottery jackpots. The Lotto 6/49 takes place on Wednesday evening and a double rollover means there’s an estimated $10 million up for grabs. Could it get even higher? You’ll have to wait and see, it’ll all depend on ticket sales and just how much excitement is created by the draw.

Then on Friday any players who missed out on the Lotto 6/49 double rollover can play the Lotto Max draw. The Lotto Max jackpot may have been won on Friday, but many of the Maxmillions didn’t find a winner. It means that the total Maxmillions has now been added to the jackpot, giving Lotto Max players a massive $21 million to play for.

It’s also worth remembering that unlike US lottery draws, the Canada Lotto is tax-free so if you’re lucky enough to be a winner, then you get the entire lottery jackpot, with no tax to pay!
