Canada Lottery to Launch Lotto Max

Lotto Max The five regional lottery organisations in Canada are to collectively launch a brand new weekly National Lottery game to give players a chance to win jackpots of up to $50 million. Canada Lottery are to launch Lotto Max in September and offers smaller $1 million prizes once the main jackpot exceeds $50 million.

Canadian’s are keen to see big lottery jackpots split into smaller prizes creating more millionaires ever week and it looks like this new Lotto Max is to offer that alongside some big bumper jackpots which will be great news for advocates of smaller prizes.

The new Lotto Max game will offer jackpots ranging from $10 million to $50 million with an additional MaxMillions game starting when the $50 million jackpot limit has been reached. Once the Lotto Max reaches its $50 million limit prize money will be allocated to a series of additional prizes worth $1 million, each with their own individual draw and winning numbers.

The idea is that Lotto Max will give Canadian Lottery players exactly what they have been asking for, big jackpots plus more $1 million prizes. It will be  a one of a kind lottery and totally unique, not just in Canada but the rest of the world too.

The Lotto Max game will replace the current Friday Super 7 Lottery game and tickets for the new lottery game will go on sale on September 19th, the first draw will be held on Friday September 25th and every Friday thereafter. It will be available to play in all of Canada’s Lottery regions and bring together all the smaller draws into one main National Lottery.
