Canada has a Lotto winners

For week’s we at the World Lottery office have been watching the Canada Lotto Max with glee, as the jackpot gets higher and higher. By last week, it was up to over $100 million and that, potentially meant over fifty millionaires would be made in last night’s draw and in the event, Canada has a lotto winners as that is more or less what happened. Here's the news, lottery numbers and winners details from last night's lottery draw.

The actual jackpot total ended up being worth $99 million, a little below estimated but well above the previous record on the popular Canadian Lottery. The jackpot was worth the standard $50 million, the highest it can get on the Canada Lotto Max and there was 49 Maxmillions draws.

And after weeks of no players matching the main seven numbers, the $50 million jackpot was shared last night by two, lucky lottery players and many of the 49 Maxmillions draws were won too.

The winning numbers for the main draw last night were 5 – 22 – 28 – 31 – 39 – 46 – 48, the bonus ball 4 and in total two players won $25 million each on the main draw while another six players matched six of seven and the bonus to scoop almost $300,000.

Another 23 lottery players matched seven of seven in Maxmillions draws to become instant millionaires and another 20 players shared Maxmillions jackpots to win shares of a $1 million prize.

It’s certainly been an exciting few weeks for this popular World Lottery draw and with some of the Maxmillions not won, next Friday’s jackpot is an estimated $30 million!
