California Lottery Winner Yet to Claim

Money One lucky ticket holder scooped the massive $39 million jackpot in Saturday night’s California Super Lotto plus but the California Lottery winner is yet to claim their massive prize leaving state lottery officials wondering just who the lucky winner is and when they are going to come forward to collect their winning cheque.

The California Super Lotto Plus has rolled over for several weeks now bumping the jackpot up week by week making it $39 million – one of the biggest ever seen in this state lottery – but it will grow no more as one lucky ticket holder scooped the entire lot, matching all the winning numbers.

The winning Super Lotto Plus ticket was sold in the Santa Cruz area of the state at the Santa Cruz market and successfully matched all of the numbers in Saturday night’s draw. The winning numbers are 16, 23, 35, 40, 41 and the mega number 12.

Lottery officials have said that as yet no one has come forward to claim the winning ticket although taking it back to the store is no good. Any prize over $600 needs to be claimed at one of the state’s regional nine California Lottery offices.

Time really is of the essence as tickets for the California Lottery draws including the Super Lotto Plus must be claimed within just 180 days, if unclaimed the amount goes back into the pot for good causes.
