The Big Lottery fund has teamed up with the Wales division of the Big Issue magazine to help some big lottery issues for Wales. Big Issue Cymru is to launch it’s own free new magazine highlighting how money for good causes in the UK National Lottery helps to bring improvement to communities, homelessness and the lives of the people who most need it in Wales.
The bilingual magazine, aptly named BIG will be packed full of stories about lottery funding and how is changes the lives of people for the better within Wales, the new magazine will be free to every person who buys a copy of the Big Issue Cymru all this week.

The magazine will be full of stories about how National Lottery funding helps homeless projects and communities right across Wales with funding and community initiatives improving lives of people in need in the area.
Ceri Doyle is the director of the Big Lottery Fund Wales and she says the reason for the launch of this new magazine is because Wales has benefitted so much from Lottery funding and she feels it is only right that lottery players across Wales know exactly where the money from their National Lottery tickets is going.
28p in every single pound of National Lottery money goes to good causes, something worth remembering as you are buying your tickets for the draw tonight and hoping you will become the next lottery millionaire.
Anyone can apply for funding from the Big Lottery fund and if you have a worthwhile community project from within Wales, or anywhere else in the UK for that matter, it’s worth remembering that all you have to do is contact the Big Lottery fund and submit your proposition.
