Back to Basics for Tuesday's EuroMillions Jackpot

EuroMillionsMany EuroMillions players will be hoping that luck will be on their side tonight and they will match the five plus two number combination to walk away a jackpot winner. This Tuesday’s EuroMillions jackpot has gone back to basics and is worth an estimated £12/€15 million. This comes after one ticket holder from the UK scooped the impressive jackpot of just over £40/€48 million in Friday’s draw. Although this jackpot isn’t as high as others that have been witnessed this year, it will still be life-changing for anyone that is fortunate to win.

To date, in the EuroMillions this year there has been two jackpot wins. The first win of the year took place on the 6th January 2012 and there was a top prize of just over £60/€73 million available to win. In this draw two ticket holders from Spain and France matched the results, which were 1, 6, 10, 12, 31 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 7, to split the jackpot.

The other jackpot win took place in last Friday’s EuroMillions draw (20th January 2012) and in this draw one ticket holder from the UK matched the numbers drawn to win just over £40/€48 million. The EuroMillions results from this particular draw were 2, 10, 22, 27, 28 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 8.

As you can see from both sets of these winning numbers from the only two jackpot wins of this year, the number 10 was drawn both times. This number isn’t in any of the categories for most or least drawn EuroMillions number, however it has proved to be lucky for the players that matched the number 10 to become millionaires!

Whether the number 10 will make it into the EuroMillions results tonight remains to be seen, however have your tickets ready for this Tuesday night draw as you never know when luck will be on your side!
