Postal Lottery Scam

Unfortunately all too often World Lottery News brings you news on these pages about lottery scams. More often than not these criminals use the internet and emails as their medium for these scams. However World Lottery News have discovered, just today, a sinister new move by the scamsters and want you to be first to know about it.
This scam is a little different to the others, in that it comes through the regular post and not by email, so it's worth paying attention to the details.
The postal lottery scam is centred around the pan-Europe Euromillions Lottery and actually cheekily use their logo in the scam, which is the first indication that this is indeed a scam. Of course the use of the logo outside the Euromillions company is illegal, due to it being copyrighted.
Unlike many other lottery scams, this one isn’t telling you that you have won a great amount of money and you just need to claim it. This postal lottery scam is attempting to convince potential players that they can join a Euromillions syndicate and stand a better chance of winning as part of a large syndicate.
Now we at World Lottery love lottery syndicates, and they certainly improve your chance of winning, however this syndicate is clearly a scam and here’s how.
As you read down the postal lottery scam it states that you are already a member of the syndicate and unsurprisingly – as you would expect from lottery scams – you have already won some money. There is then a prize claim form you need to fill in, but there’s a catch. To claim your prize you need to fill in your credit card details, complete with the CVC number, everything the scammers need to empty your bank account.
There’s no doubt this postal scam will appear in various layouts and contexts as it is redone again and again by different gangs, so now in addition to watching out for email and web scams you also have another postal lottery scam to be wary of.
