Postcode is a Winner for Tain couple

A Rosshire couple have become the 14th winners in the People’s Postcode lottery and have scooped a healthy £25,000. Donny and Rona from Parkland Place in Tain where shocked to have the People’s Postcode Lottery presenter, Angus Purden, and his TV crew knocking at their door.
Unfortunately his wife, who subscribed to the People’s Postcode Lottery and their son where away, was visiting a relative when the crew turned up. Donny is a full time carer for Rona who suffers with Crohn’s disease so the win means they can treat themselves to a long awaited holiday.
Shocked Donny said about the win “Our best friends get married this summer and we really thought we wouldn’t be able to go as we couldn’t afford it, this means we can go! We can also now have our first family holiday”
The prizes didn’t end their as the Postcode Sector Prize of £5000 was divided amongst 54 other people in the surrounding area with prizes ranging from £92 to £276. The Hutchison’s must be really popular with their neighbours!
