£1 Million Scratch Card Winner Celebrates

A mother who could barely afford to buy her children Christmas presents this year has had a New Year surprise on a National Lottery scratch cards winner. The £1 Million scratch card winner celebrates her good fortune after spending her very last £5 on a National Lottery, limited edition Christmas themed scratch card from the UK National Lottery which boasts four, £1 million prizes at £5 per ticket.
Just a few days ago lucky winner Maria Murray was counting the pennies and struggling to give her four children a nice Christmas but after spending her last £5 on a National Lottery scratch card at her local newsagents she is now £1 million richer.

Miss Murray had stopped playing the weekly lottery draw as she could not afford it and bought the £5 scratch card on a whim, the prize from a ‘Merry Millions’ festive limited edition scratch cards is one of four £1 million prizes boasted by the card.
The lucky lady scratched her card off while standing at the shop counter and asked the shopkeeper to confirm her win, after a quick scan through the lottery terminal the shopkeeper congratulated Miss Murray on her £1 million win.
Now of course Miss Murray just needs to decide what to spend her cash on, she is quoted as saying she would like to buy her council house from the council and will be giving each of her four children a share of the cash. Beyond that the lucky winner isn’t sure and I should think it will take a while yet before the news sinks in properly.
