California has its own state lottery in addition to Americas Mega Millions lottery they also have the California SuperLotto plus. The prize on this state lottery starts at $7 and rolls over every draw until it’s won. Draws of the SuperLotto plus are held twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:57 pm.
To win California’s SuperLotto plus you must match 5 main numbers drawn from 1 and 47 and one Mega number between 1 and 27 to the numbers drawn in the lottery.
The jackpot always starts at $7 million and rises until it’s won, rollovers happen frequently with prizes jackpots reaching up to $90 million. The record California SuperLotto plus jackpot was $193 million after 11 roll over lottery draws in March 2002, three tickets shared this massive prize.
How to Play SuperLotto
There’s nine ways to win Canada’s SuperLotto plus, from matching all five numbers and the mega number to win the jackpot, right down to matching only the Mega number to win a small prize.
SuperLotto plus tickets are only sold through the Californian Lottery retailers of which there are around 19,000 in the state and you play by choosing five numbers between 1 and 47 plus a mega number between 1 and 27. The aim of the game is to match as many of the numbers as you can, match all five plus the Mega Ball for the jackpot amount, match 5 without the Mega ball, 4 plus the Mega ball, or four without, the possibilities of winning a prize are plentiful.
